There are more than 81,500 American service members still unaccounted for. Their names may not be spoken daily, and their stories may not be widely known—but their absence is deeply felt by the families and brothers and sisters in arms they left behind.
On June 3, 2025, The Steadfast Valor Foundation is partnering with the Grand Junction Jackalopes to dedicate a POW/MIA Chair of Honor at Suplizio Field. This empty chair will stand as a solemn and visible reminder that while they are missing, they are never forgotten.
Chairs of Honor have become a national symbol of remembrance across stadiums, arenas, and public spaces. Each chair is left permanently unoccupied and marked to represent those who are still missing from every branch of the U.S. military—from World War II to present day.…
